Before you install the application we recommend looking at the system requirements that are necessary for Ultra File Opener without issue. The steps to install are provided here in detail.
 System Requirements
Ultra File Opener supports the following operating systems and software:
| • | Windows Vista® SP2 (32 & 64 bit) |
| • | Windows® 7 (32 & 64 bit) |
| • | Windows® 8 (32 & 64 bit) |

You need to have the following software:
| • | Internet Explorer 6 or higher |
You need to have the following minimum hardware requirements:
| • | Intel Pentium III 500MHz or equivalent processor |
| • | 150MB free hard disk space |
You will also need:
| • | An active Internet connection for product registration, activation, and updates |

To install the program you will need to perform the following steps:
| 1. | Double-click the UltraFileOpener_setup file. |
| 2. | The Setup Wizard appears. Choose between a Quick Install and a Custom Install. |
| 3. | Read the license agreement and click I Agree to continue. |
| 4. | You can select a destination folder by clicking Browse and locating a folder. Your other option is to accept the default destination and clicking the Next button to continue. |
| 5. | For a Custom install, select which components you want to install. You can customize the components using the check boxes or choose to accept the recommended ones. |

Create a desktop icon
|
This creates a desktop icon for launching the program.

Create a Quick Launch icon
|
This creates an icon located in the Quick Launch area of the taskbar. The Quick Launch area is found near to the "Start" button of your taskbar.

Add Open Tool to the context menu
|
This creates the ability to open a file with Ultra File Opener when right-clicking the file name and selecting "Open with Ultra File Opener".

If you did not install these components you can create an icon to one or both of the areas above by doing the following:
| 1. | Click the Start button, select Programs > CompuClever > CompuClever Ultra File Opener. |
| 2. | When the selection "UFO" is displayed, drag and drop the menu item to the area (desktop or Quick Launch bar). |

| 6. | Click the Finish button. |
